Jan 19, 2021: North aspect near treeline that we triggered from below.  Photo of crown that failed on facets just below the wind slab that formed from the 1/19 storm

Jan 19, 2021: Wind drifted pillow near treeline on an East aspect.  Cracking and collapse as we approached the small slope.  It failed on buried near-surface facets just below a wind crust that formed during last weeks wind events.

Dec 30, 2020: Another natural avalanche in Long Canyon on an ENE aspect.  Most of the recent avalanche activity we were seeing was starting mid path possibly due to the strong winds during the storm.  Most avalanches appeared to have stepped down into deeper weak layers.

Dec 22, 2020: Natural loose snow avalanche from 12/21 during the afternoon. Snow was easily able to be entrained to the ground in the shallow weak snowpack from a small point release higher up the slope.
