Observations

Went up and over Deception—>Lake—>Heaven Hill. From the deception/lake traverse, we could see a slab avalanche that likely ran yesterday. It appears that perhaps a small rock fall on Lake peak started a small avalanche on the upper part of the cliff. When it landed in the bowl it stepped down to a deeper weak layer.

Notably, this is a slide path that ran dry loose on the Jan 8 storm.

A little hard to estimate the size of the crown from the ridge, but my guess is ~R1.5D1.5.
