Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Went to ski fingers today before the new smell change conditions. Lower elevations were mostly faceted top to bottom with deep penetration near the ground mid elevations were a mix 3+ feet of facets w boot penetration near the ground. On the upper reaches, there was a firm wind slab that developed on the skiers right hand side, but this was easy to avoid. Climbing on the skins was difficult due to unsupportive snow. and less than an inch of new snow had fallen by the time that we left. The winds picked up, snow was being transported
