Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Went out into the big T zone, hoping that the new snow had improved coverage. Observed knee high low density new snow overlaying in between 2 to 4 inches of facets, variable depth, depending on aspect and elevation.

On a west facing slope without tree coverage at approximately 11 450, stiff northerly wind had developed limited areas of wind slab, did not crack underfoot.

Avoiding ground hazards was still the name of the game.
