Observations

I went back into Nambe today. I observed a very similar snowpack to this last weekend--variable depth, variable distribution of windslab. Dug a pit on a more westerly aspect, and found the pencil hard layer sitting on top of basal facets where I was. No failure during CT. No cracking observed in hard windslab layer, but I also chose to avoid it and try to keep my turns in areas with little cohesion.
