Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Ascended N couloir and descended Icy Spider. Did not have a solid plan on the day, looking for decent snow and less wind. Couloir was variable with no real concern. Avalanch occurred on cross loaded slope at the apron of the couloir. Skier cut across slope looking for softer snow, triggered wind slab from app. 30' below crown. Able to ski out adjacent to the avalanche.
