Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Went for a ski in the winsor area with some friends today. The slope that we skied on had fairly stable results on ECT, but there were the same weak layers observed as on other aspects. Basal facets and 2 obvious weak layers higher up were all in play. This slope has produced stable results for us earlier in the season as well, so I'm not sure how much one should extrapolate from these results.
Very good below treeline skiing.
