Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Went for a tour to sf baldy and heavens. Dug a put on a S aspect at approx 11200 feet. 85 cm depth. Basal layer showed some rounding. Stability tests revealed CT24 and ectp24 on a buried graupel layer 45 cm from the base. W winds cross loaded some s facing features.

Did not dig on heavens but snow was filling in fast. Sluffs observed on the couple steeper faces but no cohesive storm slab had formed at the time of our ski.
