Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Primarily skied the trees of Raven’s and the S meadow of SF Baldy. Relatively cautious above treeline and especially cautious in the steeper trees after this pit test.
Pit N aspect at 11320’ below treeline
CT18 at 25cm
CT23 at GROUND (both planar shear)
Riding conditions were mostly facet cruising in the shade while sun exposed slopes were in full melt down mode.

Persistent Slab
Comments: 
N to NW aspect below tree line on the edge of Raven’s. Pit depth at 105cm. Safe to say not much force is required to trigger a slide to the ground. Bottom 20cm of basal facets was easy to access via walking off the skin track or simply reaching your arm through the snowpack.
