Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Went for a ski with Todd on Big T today. Coverage was ok, but there were still buried hazards throughout. Dug a pit near the top. Results were reassuring. Forgot my snow study card and was not able to look at the individual grains, but the snowpack looked faceted from the surface to the ground.
