Observations

Yesterday, Veronica, Marcus, and myself ascended the south face of SF baldy. The snow low down had a thin sun crust. The mid-elevation snow was great. The high elevation snow was scoured.

We dug a pit a 11500 ft on a 26˚ south facing slope. Snowpack was 90 cm deep. Stability test results were as follows:

CT7 smooth planar at 85 cm
CT22 rough planar at 50 cm
ECTP 7 at 85 CM
