Observations

IeExpected to go out for a walk and found conditions improve with elevation and better than expected skiing.

First pit was west of Williams lake. 11335ft
Depth was 65cm with a significant facet layer at 45cm from base.
Isolated column test failed on 11th hit
Extended column test fractured on 6th hit with propagation

Second pit was in the south facing bowl below Lake Fork Peak. 12,000ft
Depth was 105cm with no large facet layer. I believe this is because it was above a possible rain layer.
Isolated column test held
ECTN 22

Skied a great line around 32 degrees from the ridge.
Myself and others heard whoomping on the moraine west of Williams Lake. We concluded it was not a fracturing whoomp but due to the snow filling in gaps between boulders. Just a fyi incase the reader has that experiences.
