Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Overall the riding conditions were pretty poor. Highly variable surface snow ranging from hard surface crust to soft snow. Some areas up near tree line were stripped back to bare ground from the high winds. We conducted a quick ECT and found initiation at 13 @ 65 cm, no propagation. Total depth was around 90 cm on this slope.
