Observations

Solo tour from the WL parking lot up to WL, then up Wheeler Gully. Mostly nice conditions BTL, despite relatively thin snowpack did not have any issues with obstacles. Stayed on low-angle terrain. South facing part of the gully was visibly melted with grass visible. Trees to the south of the gully made for some nice skiing. Pit was surprisingly shallow (35cm). Near tree line the surface started to get a lot of wind crust so I stopped there and skied back down. Nice day, got a bit warm with little to now wind. Crowding is down now that the ski area is open.
