Observations

Excellent webinar earlier today. That was a great format to get some education.
Went up to 11K ft SW aspect. Skinned up heavily treed area. Around 10.8K started getting loud isolated collapses. Dug a pit on a 32degree open slope. HS70. CT3 SC on near surface facets mid pack. Soft storm slab above a decomposing crust with large bottomless facets on the ground. Travel somewhat challenging. ECTP 4 on the same layer. PST 15 end.

Media

Near surface facets mid pack.
