Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Took it easy, path is shown in attached photo. Was solo so avoided anything steep. Snow was pretty heavy. Took WLT out to the lake, passed it on the west side, then took a winding path up through the trees. Took a break in the clearing and dug a pit. On CT graupel layer collapsed.

I've only probably ever done six or seven pits, I think I probably missed the pencil layer near the graupel that was cited in the forecast.
