Observations

Continued wind transport in Nambe today. Observed reactive wind slab 1.5” at upper elevations on due north slope. Only minimal graupel remained at upper elevations.

Quick pit on N facing slope at 12000 feet showed 1.5” wind slab atop variable depth 4f snow from last storm, above crust, above 2-6” of basal facets.

CT10 smooth planar at surface wind slab, ECTP10 at surface wind slab, no further failures deeper in pack.

No windslab development observed on the western aspects. Western aspects also did not harbor the crust layer above basal the basal facets.

Northern winds minimally crossloaded isolated terrain features.
