Great tour today. Felt like spring with bluebird pow. 12.2K ft west aspect above tree line. Hang fire in the area seemed to be minimal/wind scoured all the way to ridgeline. Quick pit HS 145, CT 15 Q2 at new old snow interface. One of the most bomber crusts mid-pack that was difficult to get a snow saw through. No collapsing or cracking noted on our ascent. Great skiing on a beautiful day.
