More detailed information about the snowpack:

A nice surprise to see snow falling throughout the day, but it wasn't accumulating to much.  Snow was light, with no wind making for incredible skiing.  6 to 8 inches in spots for the storm so far.  Snow was light above 10,000' and was not cohesive for the most part.  Temperatures seemed to drop off in the afternoon. I'll let you watch the videos, it probably sums it up better than reading my words.

Video 1: Storm Slabs starting to form high in the alpine

Video 2: Our Persistent Slab Problem Video from a SW aspect Near Treeline

Photo 1:  Shooting crack around 12,800' on a NW aspect.  These were very small and just starting to form.  No wind trasnport, but something to pay attention to.

Photo 2: Spindrift coming off the rocks.  We saw small loose snow avalanches starting from this snow high up in the rocks.
