More detailed information about the snowpack:

Went out today to see what was going on above treeline in the alpine specifically on northerly aspects with better visibility.  We continued to get whumpfing and collapsing on shady and northerly aspects above 10,500' where we had snow lingering from October storms.  Stability tests continue to indicate the potential for propagation on this poor snowpack structure. This problem isn't everywhere as we have a highly variable snowpack based on where the new snow fell on existing faceting snow or just bare ground.

Warming trend today but temperatures didn't really get above freezing.

Beautiful day with lots of sunshine and not a cloud in the sky.  Winds were calm with no snow transporting.
