Went to check out what the winds did overnight as they were blowing 15 to 20 MPH at the ridgetops out of the NW.  We observed numerous loose snow and storm slab avalanches that ran naturally during the storm in steep terrain.  We did not observe any of these avalanches stepping down into persistent weak layers.  This new snow was not bonding well to the firm surfaces that it fell on.  Above treeline we did observe isolated wind slabs on E facing slopes.

Early morning sun gave way to mix of sun and clouds by mid-day and clouds and light snow flurries in the afternoon.
